The Python Lock Pro lock is keeping the surveillance camera secured to the tree. The trespassers may be still unaware of the camera's location, so the strength of the lock against tampering has yet to be tested. I used another Python lock to secure the battery box, threading it through the handle of the battery box and around the base of the tree. Trespassers could still open the battery box if they spot it. A design improvement would be to add a latch to the battery box through which the Python lock's cable could be threaded, making it impossible to open. Another note I'd like to make has to do with the cable that runs from the battery box up to the camera. This morning, I found the cable was unplugged from the camera and the piece that connects the two sections of the cable was slightly untwisted. As a result, no photographs were recorded this morning because the power source was out of order. One suggestion for an area of improvement that I can offer is to change the cable so that it plugs tightly into the bottom of the camera. Also, manufacture the two parts of the cable so that they are one. Many thanks!
