Perfect camera/solar panel mount
I have 4 of these now, they do the job well and are made very well!
This works great for camera and solar panel
I bought two of these, one for my GoLive camera and one for my solar panel. They both work great and I’m very happy with them. Thanks to a previous commenter, I knew I was going to need some washers (not included) to secure the solar panel bracket to the mount due to the large hole in the center of the bracket. Would be good if the bracket was redesigned with a 1/4” hole in the center instead of the 1/2”-3/4” hole. I found 1/4” fender washers work the best, one on either side of the solar panel bracket. I also discovered it is best to “hang” the solar panel from the mount, that is slide the bracket up to the top of the back of the solar panel. Otherwise the solar panel will flop over to the side because it is difficult to tightened the wing nut provided with the mount tight enough if the bracket is at the bottom of the panel when securing to the mount. One other thing, since I was attaching the mounts to an oak tree, I took along a cordless drill and a 13/64” bit to pre-drill a starting hole for each mount. The screws on the mounts are sharp, but pre-drilled holes made the task easier.
They look perfect
We’ll… after looking them over I laid them on my table saw in the living room(house under construction) and promptly lost them in the construction mess. As soon as I find them I’ll be back to give a review!
QuickAim mount
Easy to set up, worked perfectly for where I needed to mount the camera,
