Paired the 12V External Battery with solar panel and forgot about the trail camera. It worked great and did not have to go out to exchange dead batteries at all during the deer season. Battery still going strong to this day.

After plugging through tons of batteries for this great camera, I pulled the trigger on the exterior battery and case. Huge difference. I’ve been using this for about a month and a half and it’s still reading 100% charged. Easy to use and it’s the most economical way to operate this camera. I take mainly videos with multiple videos per day and the battery is still 100% charged. Should have done this when I bought the camera and save a lot of $$ buying AA batteries.

In my opinion the external battery and box should come as a package deal. I love it. No more AA’s for me!
